    I just signed my wife and I up for the MMM membership.

    Question(s)

    1.)where can I print off a membership card?

    2.) Also, how come I can’t seem to find my wife, Shannon, anywhere within the portal when I log in? Can’t seem to find her, as well as update her medical records etc.

    3.) Does she get a card with her name on it with our MMM #

    4.) We also have insurance with VUMI. Not sure when or where to present it?

    5.)Also, how do we utilize the scheduling feature?

    6.)Finding out what the costs will be when we see a Doctor/ specialist etc., and whom do we contact? And how?

    7.) Is the “Amerimed clinic” in Playa Del Carmen the one that we’d visit? Any other facilities like Costamed, or just Amerimed?
    I know I have a lot of questions, I apologize. Thank you very much for your time and attention.

    1. Hello Charles and Shannon. Welcome to MMM.

      I understand that you are having issues finding Shannon’s account. I will have tech support reach out to you this evening or tomorrow.

      Once you have completed the front and back of your membership card, please print it and have it with you. The backlog for plastic cards in Mexico right now is being affected due to supply chain issues. You are fine with a printed copy and your QR code. Remember to also bring your ID for any hospital visits, showing you have a legal status in Mexico.

      You will be asked if you have “insurance” if you have any hospital emergency. Present the VUMI at that time please. You will still be required to pay a deposit upon check in to any hospital, until your insurance has time to respond. Some insurance companies take over and make payments, and others need you to pay first and they will reimburse you. Your deposit will be “charge as local” as opposed to “charge as tourist”.

      In the event of an emergency, call the hospital directly.

      We would recommend visiting Costamed/ then Amerimed in Playa del Carmen. If you require a specialist, we have you covered. The average cost to see any specialist is between 600 and 1000 pesos.

      If you are unsure as to where to make an appointment, allow us to take care of those details for you. We are only an email away – we respond very quickly and you can also visit us through instant messenger for service from us.
